Webinar: Migrating from SSL and Early TLS
In response to questions around the new required date change for migrating away from Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and early Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols to more secure encryption, the Council will host a webinar along with National Institute of Standards Technology (NIST) and members of the assessor community. This 60-minute session will provide guidance on making this important transition to protect your data and your customers. It will be available on the PCI SSC website on Friday.
New PCI Perspectives Blog
It’s official. We’re launching a blog! What does that mean for you?
More access to insight, information and practical resources to help your organization protect its payment data and its partners and customers.
Collaboration is a theme you’ve heard a lot from us at the Council. With our PCI Perspectives Blog, we’re excited to provide yet another way for sharing insights, expertise and lessons learned that will benefit the PCI community and the industry as a whole.
As we roll out this blog over the coming weeks, and start to plan 2016 content, we’ll be looking for opportunities to feature different perspectives from members of the PCI community. If you have a topic or idea that you think would be beneficial to your payments security peers as a blog post, please contact us at blog@pcisecuritystandards.org.

New PCI SSC website
The Council recently rolled out a new website that will make it easier for you to find what you are looking for. With a fresh, modern look and optimized performance, the design imperative for the new website was ease of navigation. That includes navigation on desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile phones so users can connect anytime, anywhere. If you haven’t seen the new website, take time now to experience the change at www.pcisecuritystandards.org.
