Attire
Business casual attire is encouraged for the event. We recommend coming prepared as temperatures may vary across the venue.

The weather during the Community Meeting will be about 75° F / 24° C for a high during the day and about 54° F / 12° C in the evenings.

Electrical Compatibility
Portland runs on 120 V / 60 HZ electricity and uses an A & B plug. If you are traveling from outside the region, remember to bring an adapter and/or converter.

ABOUT THE VENUE

The Oregon Convention Center
As one of the largest event venues in the Pacific Northwest, the Oregon Convention Center provides outstanding experiences by embracing the local flavor and innovative approaches.

They also take great pride in hosting green events. Our attendees will be able to recycle or compost most of their waste. Exhibitors can donate reusable materials and products. Be sure to bring a reusable water bottle as there will be an ample amount of free filling stations throughout the convention center. We are happy to share that any food that goes unserved will feed hungry people in the Portland community. 

Transportation and Directions to the Community Meeting
Our location is easy to access from anywhere in the Portland area, via a number of different transportation options. 

Complimentary TriMet Transit Hop Fastpass Information:
This complimentary pass is good for the duration of your conference on a TriMet bus, the Portland Streetcar or MAX Light Rail in the Portland Metropolitan area. The passes are valid from September 11-15 and can be used on all forms of public transportation. These will be included in the welcome bags at registration. 

Attendees are still able (and encouraged) to use public transportation to get to and from the PDX airport but should plan on an additional 20 minutes for their trip

Hotel Check-In and Check-Out Times

The Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center check-in time is 3:00 PM and the check-out time is 11:00 AM. 

The Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Portland check-in time is 4:00 PM and the check-out time is 12:00 PM.  

If you require an earlier check-in or late check-out, please contact your hotel directly.  

If you still need a hotel room while in Portland, don't wait to book as room availability is limited! The deadline to book your room is September 9th.  

PCI SSC will not be providing luggage storage at the event registration desk. Please check with the hotel you are staying at directly for luggage storage options.

Badge Pick-up
Badge Pick-up will be located on Level 1, Pre-function C at the PCI SSC Registration Desk at the Oregon Convention Center. Payment must be made in full for entry to the conference. Badges must be worn at all times for sessions and receptions.
